Job description

HPS is a leading provider of geotechnical and structural engineering solutions for infrastructure and energy projects. We specialize in innovative foundation systems, including helical piles and deep foundation designs, supporting power transmission, industrial, and commercial developments. We are growing and looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our engineering team. Position Overview: We are seeking a Designated Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and analysis of helical pile systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of geotechnical and structural engineering principles, as well as experience with design software such as Autodesk Revit, MicroStation, or similar. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing helical pile systems for various infrastructure and energy projects. This will include: • Conducting site investigations and gathering data to inform design decisions • Developing and reviewing design calculations and reports • Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure design meets project requirements • Providing technical support and guidance to project teams • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation • Minimum 3 years of experience in the design and analysis of helical pile systems • Strong understanding of geotechnical and structural engineering principles • Experience with design software such as Autodesk Revit, MicroStation, or similar • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
