Your design system ensures that teams work quickly, consistently, and efficiently across departments – from the first component to the company-wide adoption.

Your Tasks

• Conception, build-up, and continuous development of a scalable design system for – from tokens, components over patterns to complete documentation
• Sole responsibility for maintaining and structuring the Figma libraries, including variables, properties, modes, and platform-independent UI building blocks (Web, iOS, Android)
• Active advocacy for the design system: integration of designers, devs, and product owners, as well as promotion of company-wide adoption
• Development and maintenance of governance processes: clear contribution rules, versioning, changelogs, and quality assurance for all system contributions
• Closely working with frontend development to ensure technical feasibility and consistent implementation of components
• Ensuring accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2) as an integral part of the design system
• Supporting product teams in correctly applying the system, as well as building internal resources like guidelines, workshops, and documentation
• Participating in UI/UX project work: conceiving and designing user-centered experiences for Web and/or App – from wireframes and user flows to final UI

Your Profile

• Completed studies in the field of UX / Interaction / Digital Design or comparable professional experience
• Demonstrated experience in building, maintaining, and establishing design systems in productive environments
• Very secure handling of Figma, including deep understanding of component libraries, variables, auto layout, and tokens
• Experience in collaboration with development teams and understanding of the technical implementation of design tokens and components
• Excellent communication and moderation skills for the role as internal advocate and point of contact for the design system
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2) and barrier-free design – an advantage
• Experience with agile working methods; openness to or active use of AI-supported design tools – an advantage
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
