Design Engineer - Interior Components (Automotive)

What will you do in this role?

We are looking for a Specialized Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing innovative interior components for vehicle programs. You’ll be responsible for designing elements such as trim, overhead systems, instrument panels, cargo flooring, and acoustic features—always with a focus on quality, integration, and industry standards.

What do we expect from you?

• Design and develop interior vehicle components, ensuring they are visually appealing, ergonomic, and manufacturable.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, applying GD&T specifications.
• Take part in design reviews and integration meetings, sharing your ideas and expertise.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all program requirements are met.
• Clearly document your design concepts, risk assessments, and performance evaluations.
• Support change management and revision control processes to keep projects on track.
