Job description
The candidate should have strong exposure to machine and conveyor design , including complete mechanical systems such as belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, and other bulk material handling equipment for heavy engineering applications. Proficiency in structural analysis and FEA (stress, fatigue, buckling, thermal), steel structure design, load calculations, and knowledge of steel grades and material properties is essential. Expertise in CAD and automation tools like SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, and Pro/ENGINEER is required. Experience with finite element analysis software such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or Abaqus is an asset. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB is a plus. The ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients is crucial.
