Design Engineer (Aerospace Division)

About the Role The Design Engineer will create 3D and 2D product geometries, tooling designs, and mechanical drawings. This role collaborates with customers and project engineers to ensure that all designs are manufacturable, compliant with requirements, and properly documented. Fixed-term contract (12 months) Responsibilities Design 3D product models, molds, and tooling with complex geometries. Develop CAD models using CATIA and SolidWorks. Produce and revise detailed 2D drawings. Collaborate with customers to understand their design needs and ensure that designs meet their requirements. Work closely with project engineers to develop and refine designs. Ensure all designs are manufacturable, compliant with regulatory requirements, and properly documented. Provide technical support to customers during the design process. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of customer requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize design processes and improve product quality.
