Design and Technology Teacher (Woodwork & Resistant Materials) – Secondary School – Farnborough – January 2026 Start
Are you a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacher looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? A secondary school in Farnborough is seeking a specialist teacher to deliver Woodwork and Resistant Materials lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 from January 2026 to Easter 2026.
This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to apply your subject expertise and hands-on skills in a practical, creative learning environment. You will be responsible for planning, marking, tutor group, and school duties, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and develop their technical and creative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Woodwork and Resistant Materials lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to engage students and support progress
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
- Support a tutor group and contribute to school duties
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialist knowledge in Design and Technology, Woodwork, and Resistant Materials
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate students and develop practical, hands-on learning
- Experience teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
