This position is for working on a regular schedule, in Governador Valadares - MG.

Who will you work with?

You will integrate into the Engineering team of the Wabtec Corporation unit in Governador Valadares.

Within our organization, we develop solutions for our clients in the railway maintenance area, understanding their demands and transforming them into unique projects worldwide. We are innovators by nature!

Our team is composed of engineers, technicians, and designers. And one of our central tasks is to prepare structural equipment projects using specialized software, to feed subsequent manufacturing processes, as well as simulations and tests for technical verification of the projects.

How will you make a difference?

As a draftsman in the project area, within the Engineering department, you will be invited to learn about our entire portfolio of solutions and work directly on expanding it. You will deal directly with other internal departments, such as production and supply chain, and participate in interventions to optimize our processes. You will work with people from different areas, formations, and experiences, which will give you the opportunity to learn and teach a variety of topics.

What do we want to know about you?

• Desirable technical training in Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Electromechanics, or superior education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Production, or currently studying;

• Basic knowledge of English and Spanish;

• Knowledge of mechanical projects, machine elements, and manufacturing processes;

• Mastery of specialized design tools: Autodesk Autocad, Autodesk Inventor, and Autodesk Vault;

• Mastery of other specialized design tools and structural analysis will be a plus (SolidWorks, Catia, Ansys, etc.);

• Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems will be a plus;

• Desirable mastery of the Microsoft Office package to create document models and reports;

• Organization and proactivity;

What will your daily routine look like?

You will work directly on modeling parts, sets, and mechanical equipment, detailing, archiving, and making them available. You will be in contact with the technical team during product design focused on railway maintenance and follow its manufacturing process. The projects developed by you will feed subsequent manufacturing processes at the plant and compose the technical documentation for the equipment.
