Job description
Develop, maintain and optimize applications in Mainframe environments, ensuring correct implementation of batch processes and online transactions, meeting quality standards and client rules.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze technological requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Develop software in COBOL language for batch processes and online transactions.
- Implement and execute robust unitary and functional tests together with the user.
- Configure and manage utilities for creation, ordering, copying and matching files.
- Manage and optimize SQL queries in DB2.
- Manage batch processes and online transactions in Mainframe environments.
- Operate version control tools (ChangeMan) and task programming tools (CONTROL-M).
- Perform file transfers using Connect Direct.
- Document code and version deliverables.
- Participate in projects under the Agile Scrum framework.
