Backend Developer

MISSION:

• Design and develop scalable and resilient backend solutions, leveraging distributed architectures, CI/CD automation, and cloud technologies to drive high-performance applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design and implementation of microservices and distributed systems using Scala, Java, Play Framework, and Akka/Pekko to support critical business applications.
• Design event-based solutions using Kafka, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and efficient processing of large data volumes.
• Define persistence and data modeling strategies in Cosmos DB and SQL, optimizing queries, scalability, and performance.
• Drive automation initiatives using CI/CD tools and cloud services to improve deployment speed, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and international teams in advanced English, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and support in architectural decision-making.

PROFILE

• +4 years developing scalable backend solutions
• Advanced experience with Scala and Java
• Proficiency in Akka, Pekko, and Play
• Experience in resilient distributed systems
• Solid knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Proficiency in Cosmos DB and SQL
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps
• Bilingual English minimum B2-C1
