The ideal candidate should have experience in developing applications using Cobol, with knowledge of the COBOL programming language, its syntax and semantics. Experience in working with mainframe systems, such as IBM Z/OS or CA-7, is also required. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with database management systems like DB2 or IMS. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development life cycles, including design, testing, and debugging. He/she should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills. As a Cobol Developer at Babel, you will be responsible for developing new applications using Cobol, as well as maintaining and updating existing ones. You will also participate in the development of new technologies and tools to support our clients' digital acceleration processes.
