Deputy Room Leader 14 pound 50 per hour

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Room Leader to join our team, offering competitive pay at £14.50 per hour. As the Deputy Room Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the Room Leader in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 2-3 years old. Your responsibilities will include creating a safe and nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of children, as well as fostering positive relationships with parents and caregivers. Key Responsibilities: * Assist the Room Leader in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and experiences that promote children's development and learning. * Supervise and support a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring they deliver high-quality care and adhere to company policies and procedures. * Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with parents. * Contribute to the overall smooth running of the room, including managing resources, ensuring the environment is clean and tidy, and adhering to health and safety regulations. * Act as a role model for the team, demonstrating a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing the best possible care for children. * Deputise for the Room Leader in their absence, taking full responsibility for the room and the children. Requirements: * A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 3 or equivalent). * Proven experience working with children aged 2-3 years old. * A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. * A passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education. * Ability to work as part of a team and independently. * A current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
