Deputy Manager/Manager /Senior Manager - Fundraising

About us: The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, set up in 1958 as the second IIT, is recognised worldwide as a leader in the field of science and engineering education and research. The Institute was granted the status of 'Institution of Eminence' by the Ministry of Education (the then Ministry of Human Resources Development) on July 9, 2018. IIT Bombay's Fundraising team is responsible for securing resources to support the Institute's mission. We are seeking a Deputy Manager/Manager /Senior Manager - Fundraising who will be responsible for leading and managing a team of fundraising professionals to achieve our goals. Key responsibilities: • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to secure resources from various sources, including alumni, corporations, foundations, and government agencies. • Lead and manage a team of fundraising professionals to achieve the Institute's fundraising goals. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and corporate partners. • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and partnerships. • Collaborate with other departments within the Institute to ensure effective communication and coordination. • Develop and manage budgets for fundraising initiatives. • Analyze and report on fundraising performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to increase revenue. • Represent IIT Bombay at various events, meetings, and conferences related to fundraising and development. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising or a related field. • Proven track record of success in securing funds from various sources, including alumni, corporations, foundations, and government agencies. • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of professionals. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop strategies for improvement.
