Job description
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for multiple hotel construction and renovation projects. Oversee the execution of civil, MEP, interior fit-outs, and related works ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, and timelines. Vendor & Contractor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with contractors, suppliers, architects, and consultants for project requirements. Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Project Controls: Establish and maintain project controls systems, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress and financial performance. Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including hotel owners, operators, and other key decision-makers. Ensure that stakeholder expectations are managed and that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle. Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project timelines, budgets, and quality. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress against project plans and specifications. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance project delivery efficiency, effectiveness, and quality. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monitor and track key performance indicators, including project timelines, budgets, and quality metrics. Ensure that KPIs are aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for delivering multiple hotel construction and renovation projects. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge. Communication & Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective communication and collaboration strategies with stakeholders, including hotel owners, operators, and other key decision-makers. Ensure that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle. Project Close-Out: Ensure that all projects are closed out in accordance with organizational procedures and standards. Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process improvements. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in construction management, project management, or a related field. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of project management software and tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp. Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) certification preferred.
