Deputy Director

[What the role is] Deputy Director, Land Titles Registry Assist the Registrar of Titles and Deeds and the Director, Land Titles Registry to: • Administer the Land Titles Act 1993 and the Land Titles (Strata) Act 1967. • Review, formulate and implement legislation and policies. • Supervise the operations of the Land Titles Registry to ensure timely and accurate registration of property transactions, including providing policy guidance on operational issues. • Lead and run legislative and strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Land Titles Registry. • Provide expert advice and support to the Registrar of Titles and Deeds and the Director, Land Titles Registry on matters related to land titles and deeds. • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and community groups. • Represent the Land Titles Registry in meetings and negotiations with external parties. • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. • Provide leadership and direction to staff within the Land Titles Registry.
