Depot Supervisor

The successful Supervisor will control all aspects of the delivery function; to include the scheduling of deliveries, allocation of loads, monitoring of delivery performance, and maintenance of an efficient delivery service… **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure all deliveries are completed to customer requirements and within agreed timescales * Management of a team of drivers and delivery support staff * Monitor and review individual performance * Manage and control the operational costs of the depot * Ensure all drivers and support staff adhere to company policies and procedures * Ensure that all vehicles are maintained to the required standard * Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to * Complete all relevant administration accurately and in a timely manner * Manage stock control processes * Ensure the efficient and economical use of resources * Implement continuous improvements to drive efficiency and performance * Liaise with the Head of Logistics and Customer Service to deliver a first-class service * Ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded * To undertake any other duties as requested by management **Skills and Experience:** * Proven experience in a supervisory role within a transport/logistics environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Good organisational skills * Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * PC literate * Full Driving Licence **Benefits:** * Competitive Salary * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Pension Scheme * Life Assurance * Employee Discounts
