Dental Assistant

Dental Precinct is seeking a dynamic, highly organised and experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly team at our practice located in Bushland Beach, Townsville.

About the Role

As a key member of our dental practice, you will play an integral part in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our clinic.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Chairside assistance during general and other dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and cleaning between patients
• Instrument sterilisation and infection control according to strict infection control protocols
• Maintaining and restocking dental supplies
• Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Providing a welcoming and reassuring experience for patients
• Assisting with reception and administrative duties when required

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a Dental Assistant
• Has a sound understanding of infection control and sterilisation procedures
• Communicates confidently with patients and colleagues
• Is organised, dependable and attentive to detail
• Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
• Holds a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (desirable but not essential)
