What will be your mission? As a Demi Chef de Rang, reporting to the Chef de Rang, you will be responsible for providing an excellent service to ensure a memorable experience for guests. What will you have to do? - Care for table settings and maintain them impeccably during service. - Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menus. - Take orders, accurately recording preferences and dietary restrictions. - Present and serve dishes with elegance, describing each course and responding to questions. - Assist in selecting wines, recommending pairings, and providing expert advice. - Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks. - Anticipate guests' needs, providing attentive and personalized service. - Address any issues or concerns promptly, resolving them for guest satisfaction. - Coordinate table staff and ensure high levels of service. - Manage restaurant reservations and communicate effectively with the kitchen staff. - Set up and clean tables and meeting rooms. - Manage payments using the point-of-sale system. - Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling. - Follow all safety guidelines and participate in relevant training courses. - Know and offer various products and services available at the hotel's restaurant. What are we looking for? - Previous experience of at least 2 years in a similar position in other hotel chains or related sectors. - Professional training in hospitality/F&B. - In-depth knowledge of wines. - Knowledge of local language and English is very important. - Familiarity with various software programs (Microsoft Office, POS, etc.). - Customer orientation. - Active listening and effective communication skills. - Attention to detail. - Sales orientation. - Ability to work alone and in a team.
