Delivery and Logistics Officer (Cellphone Industry) Job Summary The Delivery and Logistics Officer is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of cellphones and related accessories to retail stores, distributors, and customers. This role ensures proper handling of high-value electronic products, inventory accuracy, and coordination with warehouses, sales teams, and transport partners. Key Responsibilities • Deliver cellphones, accessories, and related products to assigned locations according to delivery schedules and customer orders. • Inspect products before delivery to ensure they are in good condition and match order specifications. • Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation, inventory logs, and delivery manifests. • Coordinate with warehouses to arrange for timely and efficient product pickup. • Communicate with sales teams and customers to provide delivery updates and resolve any delivery-related issues. • Monitor and track the movement of goods, ensuring that they are delivered within the specified timeframe. • Manage and maintain delivery vehicles, including routine maintenance and necessary repairs. • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing delivery duties. • Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Collaborate with transport partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery solutions. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in the delivery and logistics operations. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Proven experience in delivery or logistics, preferably in the cellphone or electronics industry. • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 pounds). • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge of delivery software and GPS tracking systems is a plus. • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
