Description of the Mechanical Drafter position – Opportunity in the industrial sector

The mechanical drafter will be responsible for the preparation, development, and modification of technical drawings and graphic documentation for mechanical and industrial projects. • Creation of 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks)
• Development of manufacturing, assembly, and exploded view drawings of machinery or industrial components.
• Interpretation of technical and mechanical specifications for the design of parts and assemblies.
• Preparation and updating of technical documentation associated with projects.
• Collaboration with engineering and production departments.
• Identification and proposal of improvements in designs to optimize manufacturing and assembly.
• Adherence to mechanical design quality standards and regulations.

• Vocational training in Drafting, Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a drafter in industrial environments.
• Advanced proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or other 3D CAD).
• Ability to interpret and create detailed mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of materials and mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Organizational skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.
