Job Title: Decontamination HCA - Endoscopy / outpatients unit
Location: West Yorkshire
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Decontamination HCAto join our busy Endoscopy Unit. The successful candidate will work within the decontamination team, processing endoscopes and ensuring all equipment is prepared and ready for daily procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate endoscopy equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Take responsibility for the care, maintenance, and accurate record-keeping of endoscopes and all decontamination equipment.
• Report any breaches in the decontamination process promptly to the Senior Nurse.
• Collaborate with the wider Endoscopy team to ensure efficient and safe patient care.

About You:

• Qualified HCA level 2 or above with experience in infection control, decontamination, or endoscopy preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
