Debtors & Creditors Clerk / Junior Bookkeeper to T/B (6 month contract)

A well established company based in Lonehill requires a Debtors & Creditors Clerk / Junior Bookkeeper to join the finance team on a 6 fixed-term basis. Due to a growing workload, the implementation of a new stock system, and other ongoing projects, the accounts department requires additional support to ensure smooth operations. The role is designed to ease the current workload and provide immediate value to the team. Responsibilities include general bookkeeping tasks, with a strong focus on debtors and creditors management, including but not limited to: • Processing of payments from customers (debtors) and suppliers (creditors) • Maintaining accurate records of all transactions • Reconciling bank statements and ensuring that all accounts are up-to-date • Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports and budgets • Providing administrative support to the finance team as required. Requirements: • Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent qualification • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an accounting or bookkeeping environment • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and practices • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
