Key Responsibilities 1. Academic Leadership & Strategy Develop and implement the institution’s academic vision, mission, and long-term strategy. Lead academic planning, program expansion, and innovation initiatives. Promote academic excellence and continuous improvement across departments. Ensure alignment of academic goals with accreditation and regulatory requirements. 2. Curriculum Development & Review Oversee design, revision, and approval of curricula in line with industry trends and academic standards. Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement curriculum changes. Ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures. 3. Faculty Support & Development Provide guidance and support to faculty members on teaching, research, and service activities. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among faculty. Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments. 4. Student Experience & Success Develop and implement initiatives to enhance student engagement, retention, and overall experience. Collaborate with student affairs and other departments to ensure seamless integration of academic and extracurricular programs. Ensure alignment of student services with institutional goals and priorities. 5. Budgeting & Resource Management Oversee budget planning, allocation, and management for academic programs and initiatives. Ensure effective use of resources, including personnel, facilities, and equipment. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient use of shared resources. 6. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Develop and implement communication strategies to engage stakeholders, including faculty, students, staff, and external partners. Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration across the institution. Ensure effective dissemination of information and feedback mechanisms.
