Job description

Function

As a DBFM Manager, you will manage infrastructural projects in both the tender and execution phases. You will be responsible for preparing and monitoring the project budget and financial forecasts, as well as setting up and updating the project schedule.

You will coordinate the design and construction process from the program of requirements to execution and aftercare, ensuring integrated alignment between the disciplines of design, engineering, construction, maintenance, and facility services. You will monitor progress based on project reports, prepare risk registers and control measures, and oversee the control of scope, time, cost, quality, information, and organization. Additionally, you will ensure contract management (DBFM contracts), review work methods and quality assurance plans, and monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will conduct progress meetings with stakeholders, act as a point of contact for clients, engineering firms, contractors, and suppliers, and contribute to ensuring safety and sustainability on the construction site.

Profile

You possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a comparable field. You have proven experience in successfully managing DBFM projects and strong leadership and communication skills. You are well-versed in project management methods and tools and have experience with financial planning and budget management. Furthermore, you are a problem-solver, work accurately, and are customer-oriented.

Offer

At our client, you will join a warm family business where collegiality is central. They offer an attractive salary according to Joint Committee 200, supplemented by an attractive package of extra-legal benefits. This includes a company car, mobile phone with subscription, twelve reduction days, group and hospitalization insurance through the construction sector, eco-vouchers, a bicycle lease plan, and great discounts through Benefits at Work. As a family business, they believe in celebrating successes together. Therefore, they regularly organize fun activities: from a cozy Sinterklaas party and dynamic team buildings to a sparkling New Year's party and sporting events. This way, they ensure you feel at home within the team quickly!

Organization

Our client is a Belgian family business active in construction, infrastructure, transport, logistics, and hoisting. The core activities include earthworks and road construction, demolition and remediation, exceptional transport, and crane rental. Innovation, sustainability, and close collaboration with stakeholders are central. Additionally, support is provided for engineering and project management of various projects worldwide.
