Database & Data Analysis (m/w/d) Work Student

We are Agrezor, an engaged and growing company in the e-commerce sector for pest control. We are internationally active and sell our products through large online marketplaces as well as our own online shops. Data is a central component of our company-wide management and decision-making across all departments.

Tasks

Your Role

As a work student in the field of Database & Data Analysis, you will be responsible for maintaining and further developing our data infrastructure and creating analyses that directly support operational and strategic decisions.

Your Tasks

• Maintenance, optimization, and further development of existing database structures
• Identification, analysis, and correction of errors in databases and data pipelines
• Application of best practices regarding database structure, performance, documentation, and data quality
• Writing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries
• Conducting data analyses for various company departments, including:
• Marketing and performance analyses (e.g., sales, campaigns, marketplace data)
• Logistics and inventory analyses (e.g., stock levels, fulfillment KPIs)
• Support in accounting and financial reporting (e.g., evaluations, reconciliations)
• Creating and maintaining regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for operational and management decisions
• Working with and integrating e-commerce data from Amazon and Shopify
• Supporting and further developing ETL processes and data integrations, including API-based data sources

Qualification

Your Profile

• Enrolled master's student (m/w/d) in computer science, statistics, data analytics, data engineering, business analytics or a comparable program
• Very good SQL skills and fundamental understanding of relational databases
• Experience working with complex database structures
• Very good Excel skills, particularly Power Query
• Experience with Power BI is highly desirable
• Programming knowledge (particularly Python) is an advantage
• Basic understanding of ETL processes and APIs is a plus
• Experience with e-commerce data (Amazon, Shopify) is a significant advantage
• Very good English skills; basic German skills are required
• Structured, analytical thinking with advanced problem-solving competence
• Self-motivated work style and teamwork ability
