Job description

Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for: Database Administrator / Engineer (PostgreSQL / Cloud Migration) Responsibilities: * Migrate PostgreSQL databases from on-premises platforms to Google Cloud * Support and maintain PostgreSQL running on VM-based and/or managed cloud services * Perform core database administration tasks, including upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and optimization * Support the onboarding of various applications to the new PostgreSQL platforms * Troubleshoot incidents and actively support change and release management activities * Collaborate closely with cloud infrastructure, security, and application stakeholders * Create and maintain detailed documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles Requirements: * 4+ years of hands-on experience as a PostgreSQL DBA / Database Engineer * Deep technical knowledge of PostgreSQL internals, performance tuning, and configuration * Proven experience executing database migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud * Practical experience running PostgreSQL on cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred) * Solid understanding of replication, backup, recovery, and High Availability (HA) concepts * Experience supporting critical systems in large enterprise or regulated environments Nice to have: * Experience with native PostgreSQL managed services and Google Cloud infrastructure * Proficiency in automation and scripting * Familiarity with cloud networking security and compliance requirements Offer: * Private medical care * Co-financing for the sports card * Constant support of dedicated consultant * Employee referral program
