POSITION: Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Analyst

MISSION

The SOMACIS Group intends to strengthen its IT area by hiring a Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Analyst, a junior figure or one with initial professional experience, who will support the Data & Analytics team in building and maintaining a solid, scalable, and reliable data ecosystem.

The resource will have the opportunity for professional growth by working on ETL/ELT flows, Data Warehouse architectures, and Business Intelligence tools, also contributing to the exploration of Artificial Intelligence-based solutions to enhance the company's information assets.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Support the design and maintenance of Data Integration and ETL/ELT flows, under the guidance of more senior colleagues.
• Contribute to monitoring data quality and consistency within the Data Warehouse.
• Collaborate with company functions in collecting analytical requirements and in creating dashboards and reports.
• Participate in the application of Data Governance policies defined by the team.
• Support the adoption of Business Intelligence platforms and self-service solutions for data analysis.
• Deepen, with the team's support, the use of Artificial Intelligence-based tools and methodologies for advanced data analysis (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, clustering).
• Provide support to users in the use of Business Intelligence tools.

REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills

• 0 to 2 years of experience in Data Integration, Data Warehouse, or Business Intelligence. Applications from recent graduates with relevant study projects or theses are also welcome.
• Basic knowledge of ETL tools.
• Knowledge of the main concepts and principles of Data Warehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with at least one Business Intelligence platform (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Tableau) and with SQL and Python languages.
• Knowledge of DAX is a plus.
• Interest or initial experience in using AI and Machine Learning tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP environments is a plus, but not an indispensable requirement.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM disciplines.

• Gross Annual Salary (RAL): €29,000 – €35,000, commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications
