Data Visualization Developer II

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Visualization Developer IIwith deep expertise in Power BI to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade dashboards and reporting solutions. This role requires strong UI/UX expertise, data modeling skills, and a deep understanding of performance optimization, security, and enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, SAP Datasphere, and EDW solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to transform complex datasets into intuitive, impactful visualizations, contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualization solutions. * Develop data models and ETL processes to prepare data for visualization, ensuring data integrity and consistency. * Implement UI/UX best practices to create user-friendly and visually appealing dashboards. * Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, including query optimization, data reduction techniques, and efficient data modeling. * Ensure data security and compliance with enterprise standards and policies. * Integrate Power BI solutions with various data sources, including databases, cloud platforms, and APIs. * Provide training and support to end-users on how to use and interpret dashboards and reports. * Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry best practices. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the data visualization development process. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. * Minimum of 3+ years of experience in data visualization and reporting, with a strong focus on Power BI. * Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade Power BI solutions. * Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. * Expert-level skills in DAX and Power Query. * Experience with performance optimization techniques for Power BI reports and dashboards. * Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices. * Experience with data integration from various data sources, including databases, cloud platforms, and APIs. * Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: * Experience with Databricks, SAP Datasphere, or other enterprise data platforms. * Knowledge of SQL and other database technologies. * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). * Experience with Agile development methodologies. * Power BI certification(s).
