Data System Specialist

We’re looking for:

• Minimum 1-year in warehouse operations and/or related
• Knows and understands the flows and the operation of goods entries/exits in WMS
• Excellent level of English
• Good command of operating MSOffice (Excel, PP, Word)
• Problem solver, quick thinker, and adaptability to the needs of operational team.
• High organizational sense and push towards full compliance with set KPIs;
• Solid understanding of operational and performance metrics;
• Previous exposure to international operations, and ability to effectively navigate within a diverse, global business.
• Availability for a flexible working schedule

Maersk Romania is looking for a highly organized and results-driven Data System Operator for our Bolintin Deal Distribution Center. This key position is the liaison between 4 operational and IT systems, and actual operating team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keen understanding of warehouse operations and flows and skilfully taking this internal knowledge to be reflected in system functionalities.
• Application testing with IT, customers, and local users.
• Mapping, adjusting and optimizing operational processes in the system to meet daily needs that lead to successful compliance with customer’s KPI.
• Skilfully supporting operations by sharing your system knowledge and technical expertise;
• Engaging appropriate expert resources when complex support issues arise outside of the WMS application.
• Working with all operations to support testing activities (UAT’s) and close any occurring issues, as well as to help implement, maintain, and improve internal systems;
• Maintaining communication with corporate IT and operations staff to resolve complex issues.
• Collaborating with corporate IT to determine ways to store, organize, analyse, use, and optimize present data.
• Receive and solve all inquiries about WMS / JDA and/or other related system issues;
• Adhere to professional etiquette standards when communicating with management members, co-workers, customer, and other visitors;
• Assist with various research projects and/or special projects;
• Implements effective methods for meeting customer KPI’s and continuously defining improvement areas to increase operational quality;
• Provide leadership/example in the drive to train, manage and develop the team’s skills and competencies.
