The Data Solution Architect is a critical role responsible for leading data and analytics solutions across various industries within Industry Solutions Delivery. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives. As a Data Solution Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and leverage data to create business value. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with sales, industry experts, and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into data solution designs. * Design and architect data solutions using Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory). * Develop and present solution architectures, technical proposals, and roadmaps to customers and stakeholders. * Lead the implementation of data solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural principles, best practices, and industry standards. * Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, including developers, data engineers, and data scientists. * Conduct hands-on technical activities, such as proof-of-concept (POC) development and solution prototyping. * Stay current with the latest data and analytics technologies and industry trends. * Collaborate with other architects and subject matter experts to ensure solution consistency and alignment with overall enterprise architecture. * Contribute to the development of reusable assets, such as architectural patterns, templates, and best practices. * Provide pre-sales support, including solution presentations, demonstrations, and proposal development. * Engage with customer IT and business stakeholders to drive project success. * Be a trusted advisor, with executive presence, to customers and partners. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in data and analytics, with a focus on solution architecture. * Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, and data governance concepts. * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory). * Experience designing and implementing data solutions in cloud environments. * Strong understanding of data security and compliance requirements. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Ability to travel as needed. Preferred: * Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. * Experience in a specific industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare). * Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP). * Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate). * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). * Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). * Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
