Your missions
We are currently looking for a Data Scientist for a French industrial group:
You will be involved in several projects:
- Pricing Project
* Large-scale price optimization
* Estimation of the impact of price variations and recommendations to maximize the group's sales and margins
* Price optimization according to business constraints, in direct interaction with business units
* Participation in production deployment
- Customer Segmentation Project
* Improvement of data quality to optimize marketing campaign targeting;
* Realization of simple, robust, and efficient classification and regression models.
- Recommendations
* Definition and implementation of targeted discounts to retain customers;
* Creation of decision support tools for salespeople, integrating recommendations on customers and products;
* Close collaboration with business units to evaluate the impact and ROI of recommendations.
- Your role will also include:
* Scoping phase and needs definition with end-users;
* R&D phase: data analysis, testing, and development of simple and efficient models;
* Validation with business units and production deployment with data engineering teams;
* Monitoring and tracking of models via Databricks dashboards.
Profile sought
We are looking for demanding engineers and data scientists, passionate about AI and wishing to evolve in complex environments.
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering school, university, or PhD (appreciated);
- Solid skills in Python and ML/DL libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, etc.);
- Experience in large-scale industrial projects, ideally with multidisciplinary teams;
- Strong interest in demanding environments where quality takes precedence over quantity;
- Analytical mindset, sense of challenge, and taste for high-value-added projects.
