In exclusive cooperation with our partner, a leading company in the field of data-driven and AI-based solutions with a focus on modern cloud and machine learning technologies, we are looking for you as a Data Scientist (m/w/d) at the Cologne location.

Our partner develops and implements data-driven solutions for well-known enterprise customers (Mazda, Congstar, Telekom) and focuses on the development and productive use of machine learning models. This involves scalable, productive applications with real business impact, particularly in the field of customer analytics and data-based decision-making. For you, this means the opportunity to implement ML solutions end-to-end and actively bring them into productive environments.

Aufgaben

• As a technical solution and implementation partner, you will work on diverse customer projects and accompany the entire machine learning lifecycle from data analysis to productive use.
• You will develop, validate, and optimize machine learning models using Python and common frameworks such as TensorFlow or scikit-learn.
• The operationalization of models (deployment, monitoring, integration) is part of your central responsibility – with a focus on MLOps and productive systems.
• You will analyze and process large data sets (e.g., with Python, SQL, Spark) and lead to concrete recommendations for departments.
• In close coordination with customers and internal stakeholders, you will present results clearly and advise on data-driven decisions.

Qualifikation

• Several years of practical experience in the field of Data Science / Machine Learning
• Very good knowledge of Python and experience with common ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
• Praxis in the development and, in particular, the operationalization of machine learning models
• Experience in handling large data sets and basic knowledge of SQL and data structures
• Ideal experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar technologies and cloud environments (e.g., Azure or AWS)
• Structured, solution-oriented work style and communication strength in exchange with departments
• You speak fluent German (C1 level) and communicate confidently in English
