Responsibilities and Tasks of the Function

Work with business partners, data engineers, and technology teams to develop solutions;
Act as a representative of Advanced Analytics in strategic projects for corporate and industrial areas;
Build machine learning and statistical models to predict future results;
Perform exploratory data analysis to discover patterns and trends, validate hypotheses, and generate business insights;
Implement, test, deploy, document, and debug data pipelines and machine learning pipelines;
Evolving the technological roadmap by researching and following the evolution of technologies and markets;
Understand BI & Analytics components and how they integrate to meet business demands.

Required Skills
Higher education degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields;
At least 2 years of relevant experience as a data scientist;
Experience with Python programming language, SQL, and Spark;
Experience with the data science process, including exploratory data analysis, data preparation, predictive model development, and deployment;
Experience in machine learning techniques (Classification, Regression) and tools/libraries;
Experience deploying models to cloud (Azure, Databricks, Docker, Mlflow);
Experience in Data Lakehouse environment;
Knowledge of time series models;
Knowledge of optimization;
Knowledge of Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).

Additional Requirements
Knowledge of cloud Azure, AWS, and OCI;
Knowledge of Deep Learning;
Knowledge of R programming language;
Knowledge of developing applications using LLM (GPT3.5, GPT4, and similar);
Knowledge of techniques for Natural Language Processing (NLP);
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI;
Experience with Agile Methodology.
