Data Scientist Freelance

We are looking for a Freelance Data Scientist/AI Engineer with concrete experience in developing and deploying artificial intelligence solutions in enterprise production environments.

Profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or AI Engineer, with real projects brought to production (not just prototyping or notebooks)
• Advanced skills in Python, with practical experience in CI/CD pipelines
• Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices and production-grade development standards
• In-depth knowledge of Git flow and collaborative development workflows (branching, code review, PRs)
• Proven experience in Agile and cross-functional teams
• Strong operational autonomy: ability to take on end-to-end tasks and deliver reliable solutions with minimal supervision
• Hands-on experience in the development, deployment, and maintenance of AI solutions in complex enterprise environments
• Experience with coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code, or similar)
• Good communication skills, with an aptitude for translating business problems into concrete AI solutions

Technical Skills

• NLP and Generative AI — documented practical experience, not just theoretical
• LangChain and LangGraph
• Experience in developing AI agents, virtual assistants, and agentic RAG solutions
• Familiarity with Azure AI Search (vector search, hybrid search, semantic reranking) and/or Azure Machine Learning
• Knowledge of metrics and evaluation methodologies for AI systems: Recall@K, Precision@K, F1-score, DeepEval
• Knowledge of agent protocols (A2A, MCP) and skill/subagent architectures is a plus
• Experience with PyTorch, MLflow, OpenAI SDK is a plus
• Fluent knowledge of the Italian language
