Data Scientist, Credit Risk – Impact & Modelling

A leading South African financial institution is looking for a Data Scientist III to enhance their credit risk capabilities. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Mathematics or Statistics, along with 6-8 years of experience in Data Science within the Credit Risk sector. Strong skills in SAS and SQL are essential, reflecting a commitment to quality and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to drive insights and inform strategic decision-making.
