Our Data Science missions

At AVISIA, we offer missions that combine technical expertise, Data Science, and understanding of business stakes. Depending on your profile, skills, and interests, you will be involved in various projects, from designing predictive models to their deployment in production, including data analysis and performance optimization.

The objective: to design concrete solutions, fully exploit the potential of data, and directly contribute to our clients' decision-making.

Examples of Data Science projects

• Sales and Revenue Forecasting: design of predictive models to anticipate revenue generated on the e-commerce site of a Retail player and improve decision-making.

• Recommendation Systems: development and industrialization of a recommendation engine to personalize user experience and optimize visitor conversion on a website.

• Customer Churn Prediction: creation of scoring models to identify customers at risk of disengagement and enable business teams to anticipate their retention actions.

• Customer Segmentation and Marketing Targeting: implementation of segmentation models to refine marketing and sales strategies, personalize campaigns, and adapt retention actions to customer behavior and preferences.

These projects will allow you to apply techniques in Machine Learning, predictive modeling, scoring, and customer segmentation, while developing your expertise on concrete, high-value-added use cases.

• You have at least 3 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or statistical modeling.

Your technical skills

You hold a higher education degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or an equivalent field, from a university or engineering school.

You possess the following skills:

• You are familiar with the main statistical modeling and Machine Learning techniques: Random Forest, XGBoost, K-means, etc.

• You are proficient in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

• You practice Python, R, and/or SAS for data analysis and predictive model development.

• You are familiar with at least one market-leading data processing and analysis solution, such as Dataiku, SAS, or Alteryx.

• Knowledge of Cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure, is a plus.

The recruitment process

We favor a structured and transparent recruitment process that allows you to discover AVISIA, present your background, and discuss your skills and expectations.

1. An initial conversation with our Talent Acquisition team: a phone, video, or on-site interview to discuss your background, motivations, and professional project.

2. A technical test: a multiple-choice questionnaire and practical case studies will be sent to you by email on the evening of your HR interview. You will have 7 days to complete them.

3. A technical interview: you will meet a senior consultant, a manager, or a Practice Leader, ideally on-site, to deepen your technical skills and discuss the proposed missions.

Informal discussions with the team may also be organized if needed, allowing you to discover your future work environment and ask all your questions.
