As a Data Product Manager, you will be immersed within our clients' teams.
You will work for companies ranging from French startups to large international corporations, in sectors as diverse as transportation, insurance, luxury, music, tourism, or online banking.
Whether it's to identify and scope relevant use cases for launching a new Data Product or to support development within a team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers, our Data PMs are there to bring a product vision and approach to cutting-edge topics!
Your daily mission:
Identify and prioritize the client's user and business needs Define the product strategy and roadmap. Establish a "clear" product vision, identify uncertainties, and implement relevant approaches to resolve them. Know how to define the MVP of a Data Product and the iterations that will lead to achieving the vision. Analyze the technical and business performance of the product, identify levers for improvement, and facilitate the co-creation of relevant solutions. Determine, write, and prioritize product features in the form of Epics and User Stories with the business, operational, and technical teams. Create and ensure the proper maintenance of your backlog. Follow various agile ceremonies such as: sprint planning, daily meetings, retrospectives, client demonstrations. Collaborate with the UX Designer to design the user experience. Participate in the implementation of user tests and analyze the feedback. Maintain the short and medium-term roadmap, taking into account business impacts and development constraints. Communicate with all stakeholders. Your profile:
You have a very good understanding of Data Science: you know its fields of application, you understand the mechanisms, and you are aware of the challenges of creating a Product based on a Machine Learning model. You perfectly distinguish between Project Culture and Product Culture. You have a good theoretical knowledge of agile practices (Scrum & Kanban methodologies among others). You are fully familiar with digital product creation methods such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup! You are capable of identifying and prioritizing user needs, communicating ideas, and being proactive. You know how to adopt the appropriate level of discourse to align highly technical and business teams on a common vision and objective. **The small (BIG) PLUSES:** You have notions of Python and/or Spark You know how to use a Notebook You have already taken a MOOC like Andrew Ng's to deeply understand how Machine Learning works You master design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma. You know how to implement A/B tests. You speak English. And of course, you are passionate about digital!
