Data Migration Consultant Our client is hiring a detail-driven, solutions-focused Data Migration Consultant to guide customers through seamless transitions into a Community Management System (CMS) . This is a full-time, on-site role at their Somerset West based office. Location: Somerset West Type: Permanent, in office, full time position. Salary: Market related and dependent on experience (negotiable) Purpose of the role Ensure accurate capture, cleansing, and migration of data from legacy sources into the new CMS. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand their data structures, requirements, and objectives. Develop and execute data migration plans, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation activities. Map data fields between legacy systems and the new CMS. Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues. Provide training and support to clients on data migration processes. Document data migration procedures and results. Adhere to project timelines and budgets. Requirements: Proven experience in data migration, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Experience with data analysis and data quality assessment. Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in data migration tools and technologies. Experience with CMS platforms is a plus. Experience in the financial services industry a plus.
