NFI Parts™ is North America’s most comprehensive organization providing parts, technical publications, training, and support for buses and motor coaches. NFI Parts is the parts division of NFI Group, providing replacement parts for New Flyer® transit buses, MCI® motor coaches, ADL buses, ARBOC® vehicles, as well as the product lines for the acquired NABI and Orion parts businesses. Additionally, NFI Parts has extensive cross references for parts that are common with other bus, coach, and cutaway manufacturers, allowing for one-stop shopping. **Position Summary:** The Data Management Technician is responsible for the integrity and accuracy of parts data within the NFI Parts business systems. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of the parts database, ensuring that information is up-to-date, consistent, and readily accessible for various business functions. The Data Management Technician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies, implement data quality standards, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the parts data management processes. **What You Will Do:** * Review and validate data within the parts database * Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies * Update and maintain parts data, including part numbers, descriptions, pricing, and specifications * Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and inventory, to ensure data accuracy * Develop and implement data quality standards and procedures * Perform data cleansing and transformation activities * Assist in the development and maintenance of data documentation * Participate in data migration and integration projects * Perform data audits to ensure data integrity * Identify and resolve data-related issues * Develop and maintain various system tools, like Excel reports to enhance productivity. * Other duties as assigned. **What You Bring:** * High school diploma or equivalent * 2+ years of experience in data management or a related field * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Experience with data entry and data validation * Knowledge of database principles and data management best practices * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Experience with ERP systems is a plus * Experience in the transportation industry is a plus **Why Join Us?** * Competitive Wages * Benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability Insurance * Paid Vacation * Paid Holidays * 401K Program with Company Match * Opportunities for Growth * Professional Development * Employee Assistance Program
