Data Governance - Manager

Talent Worx is seeking a Data Governance Manager to help our clients establish and manage data governance frameworks. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on implementation capabilities to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across organizational data assets. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop policies, processes, and tools that govern data usage while driving data literacy across the organization. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures. Establish and maintain data quality metrics and monitoring processes. Manage data governance working groups and committees. Conduct data governance assessments and audits. Collaborate with IT, business units, and other stakeholders to ensure data governance alignment. Provide data governance training and support to end-users. Identify and mitigate data-related risks. Stay current with data governance best practices and industry trends. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management). Proven experience in data governance, data quality, or data management. Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices. Experience with data governance tools and technologies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
