Data Engineering Lead

Job Location: Hyderabad What You Will Do: * Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) /Databricks for data integration and ETL processes. * Design, implement, and optimize Power BI /Fabric reports and dashboards to deliver actionable business insights. * Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and other teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions using ADF and Power BI. * Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into cloud-based storage solutions. * Implement data governance and data quality processes. * Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations. * Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and reports. * Lead a team of data engineers, providing guidance and mentorship. * Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. * Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering trends and technologies. What You Will Need: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on ETL, data warehousing, and business intelligence. * Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and/or Databricks for data integration and ETL processes. * Proficient in designing and implementing Power BI /Fabric reports and dashboards. * Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Blob Storage). * Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling. * Experience with SQL and data manipulation languages. * Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices. * Experience with leading and mentoring a team of data engineers. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Nice to have: * Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP). * Experience with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event Hubs). * Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Scala). * Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate).
