Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric f m x

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric, who will join our Data & Analytics Competence Center - a specialized unit bringing together the best experts in data engineering, data processing, analytics, and cloud technologies.

This role is dedicated to projects implementing Microsoft Fabric, where you will play a key role in designing and building modern data platforms, integrating corporate data sources, and enabling advanced analytics and reporting.

Your tasks

• Developing, deploying, and maintaining solutions for data processing on the corporate platform designed to ensure continuous availability of data for reporting, applications, and analytical purposes.

• Mainly working with structured data, including financial, production, procurement, sales, marketing, and pricing data, etc.

• Designing and deploying scalable, robust, and secure solutions for data processing on the Azure platform, using Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT processes, and other data processing processes.

• Creating and maintaining efficient data models and schemas to support business needs

• Optimizing solutions for data processing in terms of performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness

• Ensuring best practices for security and compliance throughout the Azure architecture

• Providing ongoing support for data-related issues and quickly resolving problems

• Collaborating with multifunctional teams to define and implement data solutions that align with business goals

• Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers, supporting a science-based environment focused on collaboration

• Staying up-to-date with the latest Azure technology advancements and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering and Azure platform

• Documented experience in Microsoft Fabric projects

• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

• Familiarity with networks, security, identity management, and serverless processing on the Azure platform

• Experience in creating scripts and automating using PowerShell, ARM templates, or similar tools

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex problems

• Strong communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with multifunctional teams

• Mandatory proficiency in the Polish language

• Mandatory residence in Poland

Bonus points

• Good experience in extracting data from various ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion) and related development

• Azure certifications
