The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Data Engineer with French skills to join our team.
Objectives and activities:
- Customer Segmentation: Segmentation calculation engine
Profile sought:
Data Engineer familiar with:
- manipulation of complex data catalogs (multi-objects, multi-tables, links and cardinalities…)
- a high-volume environment (Scale of hundreds of millions of daily lines, API Scale: 2 million calls per hour)
- a demanding production environment (SLA incident resolution < 4 hours)
- cross-functional requests concerning data exposure
- external support for varied profiles (architects, BAs, developers)
- modeling of publicly exposed data (Swagger, Avro)
- modeling for internal tables optimized for read/write On-call, API, Kafka
Technical skills:
Other skills:
Hybrid work with 3 days in the office in either Bucharest/Timisoara/Cluj/Brasov.
Objectives and activities:
- Maintain 2 Big applications
- Customer Segmentation: Segmentation calculation engine
- Build and maintain person/customer knowledge oriented Data Products
- Ensure good documentation of production applications
- Continuously manage application obsolescence.
Profile sought:
Data Engineer familiar with:
- manipulation of complex data catalogs (multi-objects, multi-tables, links and cardinalities…)
- a high-volume environment (Scale of hundreds of millions of daily lines, API Scale: 2 million calls per hour)
- a demanding production environment (SLA incident resolution < 4 hours)

Technical skills:
- Essential: Have solid skills in SQL, in Java (>17)
- Advanced: Tuning, optimization and profiling
- Be comfortable with the following technologies (or similar): Kafka, PostgreSQL, Oracle Exadata, Spark, Kubernetes, Starburst, Airflow, Python, ELK monitoring, Docker.
Other skills:
- Develop and perform advanced tests (unit, end-to-end, integration)
- Participate in acceptance testing
- Perform code review/reading for code developed by the Squad developers
- Estimate development effort for projects/evolutions
- Manage deliveries in different environments (dev / Qual / Prod)
- Rigor, Autonomy, Proactiveness, report on activity
- Customer-focused, Active Collaboration, Problem Solving, Results Oriented.
Hybrid work with 3 days in the office in either Bucharest/Timisoara/Cluj/Brasov.
