Data Engineer

You manage and improve our databases, pipelines, and connections, build new solutions, and contribute to the further development of our data landscape, including with Microsoft Fabric and AI. What exactly will you do?

• You manage and improve our existing data streams, stored procedures, and jobs;

• You build new pipelines from source to destination;

• You write and optimize complex SQL queries for analyses, reports, and data management;

• You guarantee the quality, reliability, and availability of data within our systems;

• You actively contribute to improvements in our data and BI architecture and working methods;

• You collaborate with team members on automations and other technical and analytical projects;

• You implement AI where it adds value, for example for automated analyses and monitoring of our processes;

• You contribute to the development of connections and tools, including in other programming languages such as Go.

You (go on holiday and) bring with you:

• A completed university education in a technical or analytical field;

• 2 to 5 years of work experience as a data engineer, preferably in a commercial organization;

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases;

• Experience with building and managing stored procedures, jobs, and data streams;

• Experience with a programming language, and you enjoy learning new languages like Go;

• Experience with Git and version control;

• You work independently and structured, and switch easily for ad-hoc requests;

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;
