What a Data Engineer does at Angry Nerds: Deals with code creation and collaboration with the project team and client, Pays attention to the performance of executed SQL queries, Participates in analyzing, estimating, and planning the project, Supports other developers in analyzing and improving solutions, Proposes new solutions and participates in improving existing solutions, Uses English in daily work, Works with data of various formats and prepares them for further analysis using cloud technologies. Our expectations: Minimum several years of commercial experience in data processing using Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric cloud technologies, Good knowledge of Apache PySpark using Notebooks, Experience working with CSV, Delta, Parquet files, Experience working with ETL, ELT pipelines, Experience working with the Azure cloud, Experience working with Azure SQL, Very good knowledge of SQL (T-SQL), Analysis and maintenance of stored procedures, views, Identification and mapping of dependencies in the medallion architecture (CSV, Json, SQL), Reverse-engineering of business logic (output -> input), including documenting rules and identifying edge cases.
