Data Engineer - Medallion Architecture

About the Role We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to design, implement, and maintain a ​ Medallion Architecture on Azure Data Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, PySpark, and Power BI, and a solid understanding of data modelling and data pipelines. ​ Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and dataflows in Azure Data Factory / Azure Synapse following the Medallion Architecture. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design data solutions that meet those needs. • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Medallion Architecture and its components, including Azure Data Platform, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI. • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and develop data pipelines that meet those needs. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipeline performance, scalability, and reliability. • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering and architecture, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our data solutions. • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code is well-documented, tested, and follows best practices. • Collaborate with other teams to develop and maintain a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
