Data Engineer Junior - Focus on Data Pipelines (m/f/d)

Together with five analytics and data experts, you will develop modern data solutions in Bonn for a holistic 360° customer profile, enabling data-driven decisions that contribute to greater inclusion and social participation.

• You will work on modern data products that support reporting, analysis, and data-driven decisions at Aktion Mensch.
• You will assist in providing curated data for analyses, reporting, and other data-driven use cases.
• You will develop and maintain data pipelines and data processing workflows to deliver high-quality data.
• You will participate in conducting data quality checks as well as analyzing and resolving data errors.
• You will document data flows, interfaces, and technical interdependencies in a clear and understandable manner.
• You will work closely with analysts, data scientists, architecture, development, and business unit teams.
• You will support the implementation of standards for data quality, governance, and data reusability.

• You have gained initial practical experience in Data Engineering, for example through professional experience, studies, working student roles, or personal projects.
• You have good SQL skills and initial experience with Python for data processing and analysis.
• You are interested in data modeling and modern data platforms and ideally have already had initial practical exposure.
• You have initial experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, or comparable data integration tasks.
• Initial knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or comparable cloud and data platforms is desirable.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems is an advantage.
• You work in a structured, careful, and solution-oriented manner.
• You enjoy analyzing technical issues and developing solutions collaboratively within the team.
• Clear documentation of your work results is a matter of course for you.
• You enjoy working with various business units and technical teams and communicate openly and reliably.
• You are interested in continuously developing yourself in the fields of Data Engineering, Analytics, and modern data platforms.
• Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
