Job description
Our missions:
We work with our clients on 100% data missions that combine technical and strategic dimensions, where data is the driver of operational performance. As a Data Engineer, you are the architect who makes data usable. Depending on your profile, you will be involved in building robust data platforms (Data Lakehouse) or industrializing complex flows intended for AI.
Our clients (Luxury, Retail, Telecom, Banking...) are facing an explosion in data volumes and sources. Your role will be to ensure the fluidity, quality, and security of these flows.
Some examples of current projects:
Migration from a legacy on-premise to a Cloud Lakehouse architecture (Snowflake/Databricks). #CloudMigration
Industrialization of complex pipelines on GCP (BigQuery, Dataform) with a strong culture of observability (Dynatrace) and CI/CD. #Orchestration
Deployment of AI applications, APIs, and services (ML prediction algorithms, conversational agents, etc.) #MLOps
Audit and redesign of ingestion pipelines to reduce compute and storage costs on GCP or AWS. #Performance
Development of Kafka components, exposure via API, and guarantee of real-time flow performance on an international scale. #Streaming
The Human Factor:
We are looking for talents:
With excellent interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between business needs and IT constraints,
With the desire to build scalable and robust infrastructures,
Equipped with a rigorous analytical mind,
Who place paramount importance on code quality (CI/CD, unit tests) and technical documentation (Confluence/Jira),
Curious about new trends (DataOps, generative AI applied to code),
Sensitive to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) issues to integrate sustainable digital practices,
With the desire to share and learn within an active technical community,
Proficient in professional English to operate in international contexts,
With a minimum of four years of experience in data engineering topics.
Technical Skills:
You hold a degree in data from a university or a leading graduate school and:
Are perfectly proficient in Python and SQL (analytical and procedural),
Have solid experience with a workflow orchestrator (Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster),
Are familiar with modern transformation tools like dbt (Data Build Tool),
Are proficient in at least one Cloud solution (GCP, AWS, Azure, or Snowflake) and its managed services (BigQuery, Redshift, S3...),
Master the software lifecycle (GitLab/GitHub, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker),
As a bonus: you have already worked with streaming flows (Kafka, Pub/Sub), generative AI frameworks (Langchain), or data visualization tools (Power BI).
The Recruitment Process
You will first chat with our Talent Acquisition Leader who will invite you for an initial interview by phone, video call, or on-site.
A technical test (multiple-choice questions and practical case studies) will be sent to you by email.
You will then meet a senior consultant (manager or practice leader), ideally on-site.
Informal discussions with the team may be organized as needed so that you can discover your future work environment in parallel.
