Data Engineer

A BeConfident is an edtech focused on teaching English with the use of artificial intelligence. We already have over 1.6 million free users and 100,000 paid users, and we have a projected revenue of R$ 60 million by the end of the year.

Part of our mission, especially in the data area, is to generate a breakthrough in Second Language Acquisition — the scientific field that studies how people learn a second language efficiently.

Our team is remote, with presence divided mainly between San Francisco and São Paulo.

Requirements

• Refactor dashboards of data analytics ensuring clear communication in real-time about product and business.

• Address scalability challenges, ensuring that the platform can grow and adapt to increasing demand and complexity.​
• Develop solutions for efficient processing of large volumes of data, ensuring integrity, security, and accessibility.​

• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate machine learning models into the platform, facilitating the creation and management of intelligent agents.​
• Statistical knowledge, with ability to generate statistical analyses that support business decisions;
• Actively participate in code reviews and promote best practices for development to continuously improve software quality.

• ≥4 years of professional experience as Machine Learning Engineer or Data Engineer.
• Experience developing and maintaining distributed systems and scalable systems.
• Experience designing and managing large-scale relational databases.

• Specialization in Data Science or Statistics
• Familiarity with Machine Learning
• Proficiency in Python.
