The Opportunity

As part of our growth, we are looking for an AWS Data Engineer who wishes to join our Montreal office and contribute to large-scale projects with our clients.

You will be involved in various mandates such as:

·       Cloud Modernization;

·       Design of Data Lake and Lakehouse platforms;

·       Advanced analytics and projects related to artificial intelligence;

·       Data governance and quality.

Our consultants work with organizations that already have several years of Cloud maturity, possess large-scale data platforms, and are investing in strategic initiatives driven by their Data departments.

Your Responsibilities

·       Design and develop data pipelines within the AWS ecosystem;

·       Implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes;

·       Participate in the design of Data Lake and Data Lakehouse architectures;

·       Operate and optimize AWS services related to data;

·       Ensure data quality, security, and traceability;

·       Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams;

·       Participate in automation and deployment activities;

·       Optimize the performance and costs of developed solutions;

·       Contribute to data engineering best practices.

Desired Profile

Experience

·       Minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering;

·       Significant experience with AWS;

·       Experience in a Big Data or Cloud Data Platform environment.

Technical Skills

·       AWS Glue;

·       S3;

·       Lambda;

·       Athena;

·       Redshift and/or Snowflake;

·       Python;

·       SQL;

·       Airflow or other orchestration tool;

·       Git and CI/CD.

Assets

·       Databricks on AWS;

·       dbt;

·       Terraform;

·       Kafka;

·       AWS Certifications.

Languages

·       Fluent French;

·       English proficiency allowing for effective interaction with clients, partners, and colleagues in a bilingual environment.

Soft Skills

We are looking for someone:

·       Passionate about Data and Cloud technologies;

·       Comfortable in a consulting environment;

·       Recognized for their collaboration and autonomy;

·       Motivated by an international relocation project to Quebec.
