Data Domain Engineer- Dell EMC Data Domain technologies

Key Responsibilities

 Administer, configure, and maintain Dell EMC Data Domain storage appliances

used for data protection and deduplication.​

 Monitor system health, performance, and capacity planning for enterprise storage

environments.​

 Manage backup and recovery operations using tools like Avamar, Networker,

NetBackup, Veeam, or Commvault.​

 Troubleshoot and resolve backup and restore issues across heterogeneous

environments (Windows, Linux, VMware).​

 Perform data replication, retention policy management, and offsite storage

configuration for disaster recovery.​

 Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, operational

procedures, and troubleshooting playbooks.​

 Provide technical consultation and workshops on storage and cyber recovery

architecture for clients or internal teams.​

Required Skills and Qualifications

 4–10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, storage, or backup administration.​

 Proficiency with Dell EMC Data Domain systems and related technologies

(PowerProtect, Avamar, Networker).​

 Strong understanding of deduplication, replication, and backup workflows.​

 Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows Server environments.​
